Learning Mentor job summary
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to support our SEND students in our Den area. The Den is a dedicated classroom area and suite of rooms designed to support our students with their learning , and a calm space to regulate when needed. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, have a calming and understanding nature and a range of experience working with SEN children and their specific needs.
The role involves developing 1:1 mentoring relationships with students who require academic or emotional support, in accordance with their learning plans or one page profiles.
This role is permanent. 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per annum. Grade C SCP 5 - 7 (FTE salary £24,790 - £25,584). Actual salary £18,650.08 - £19,247.43
