ABOUT US:

ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to work with identified children across the school, in order to further raise their self-esteem, aspirations and academic performance. The successful candidate will be proactive, positive and flexible, a great team player with excellent communication skills and will be responsible for the development of effective mentoring relationships with both children and their parents, working alongside our full-time Learning Mentor.

We welcome applications from experienced learning mentors or from those with other relevant and recent experience of working with children or young people, who can demonstrate their ability to engage children, especially boys, from a range of backgrounds. The position will require you to work with a range of pupils with Emotional, Social and Behavioural difficulties as part of our Inclusion Team, providing support in class and small group/1:1 sessions out of class as appropriate; an experience or awareness of working with people with SEND would be advantageous.

The hours of working will be:

Monday to Thursday - 8.30am – 1.00pm

Friday - 8.30am – 12.00pm
