The Board of Governors of St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School, with support of Holy Cross Multi Academy Company, are seeking to appoint to the role of Learning Mentor to join our successful team.

The role of Learning Mentor is a pivotal role within St. Augustine’s Catholic Primary School who are part of the Holy Cross Multi Academy Company.

Core Purpose:

  • To provide a complementary service to that provided by teachers and pastoral staff in order to address the needs of pupils, who need help and support to overcome barriers to learning, both inside and outside school to achieve to their full potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of attainment, improving attendance, reducing exclusions and maintaining good standards of behaviour
  • On behalf of the school, to help manage and organise the work of Attendance, Transition and Lunchtime Play Provision etc, including relevant staff and any associated budget
