Would you like to be part of an exciting opportunity to develop and support the opening of a new primary based Special Needs School?
Sladewood Academy is the newest school within the SAND Academies Trust and, when it opens in September 2023, will cater for pupils aged 4-11 years with a range of special needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autism, Communication and Interaction Delays, Global Learning Delay, attachment and trauma related needs and a range of other complex needs. Sladewood aims to be a Relational School where Ace Aware, Trauma Informed and Restorative Practice are at the heart of all we do, ‘Together we Thrive’.
We are looking to appoint a Grade 6 Learning Partner to join our dedicated and friendly team to provide cover across the school. The successful applicant should have a passion for working with pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities. You will be responsible for supporting teaching staff with their responsibility for the development and education of pupils, some of whom may have a wide range of special needs.
