We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Learning Practitioner for SEN to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement and review individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and well-being in every learner.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in education, care, or support settings) is desirable.
  • A nurturing, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Higher)

Winston Way is a three form entry primary school in Ilford, East London. The school caters for children from Nursery to Year 6 (3-11 year olds) with 660 children currently on roll. Winston Way Academy is part of United Learning, a large multi-academy trust across England, who believe that everyone can strive for excellence.
