Further details about the role
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking team member with the drive to positively engage with service users, both across the Trust and within the local community. The successful candidate will be a part of a small but supportive team, based at Oakwood High School and working across the Trust to deliver and develop LRC services.
You will be joining us at an exciting time of change and development across the service, as the LRC team begin to develop activities to support the community engagement strategy. Our LRC team will work alongside colleagues to provide a range of community events and activities, in addition to the library services and activities provided to our staff, pupils and students.
This is not a traditional library role and may suit someone who is looking for a non-teaching role in education; an interest in creating links with the local community; or someone looking for experience working with young people. Diversity, equality and inclusion are at the heart of our service, and the post holder will be expected to support and demonstrate this in every aspect of the role.
