What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive SEN department. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our young people by helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
  • Assist students with a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support the learning of students with additional needs.
  • Encourage students' confidence, independence, and social development.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, positive attitude and caring nature.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
