What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive SEN department. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our young people by helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
- Assist students with a range of learning needs and abilities.
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support the learning of students with additional needs.
- Encourage students' confidence, independence, and social development.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, positive attitude and caring nature.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
