Learning Support Assistant 1:1 SEND Child Scale 1 SCP 1-4 £17,364 - £18,426 Pro rata Fixed term contract until August 2020 (initially) 15- 25 hours a week- hours negotiable, term time only Starting date: 4th November (or as soon as possible after this date) We are a friendly school with approximately 430 pupils aged between 2 and 11 years. The school fosters close links with the parents and the local community. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating and inclusive climate in order for our children to achieve their maximum potential. To achieve this, we provide a wide variety of experiences for the children both on and off the school site. These are organised by the staff team of teachers and teaching assistants working together. We are looking for a committed person who can enhance the teaching and learning of our pupils. The post would ideally suit a person with experience of working with children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. The hours will be negotiated within 8.30am and 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. The position is subject to a DBS Enhanced disclosure check.
