Learning Support Assistant job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to join Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form (KNGS). We are an OFSTED outstanding school and part of the West Midlands Multi Academy Trust, the school has a comprehensive intake and a co-educational sixth form. The post is available on a full time, term time only basis, working 37 hours per week on a temporary contract. The post is available for an immediate start.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our SEND team. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of working with young people to promote effective learning and overcome barriers. The role will be to provide support for identified students with additional needs. Experience of working with young people is essential, previous experience of working with students with additional needs is highly desirable. First aid training would also be preferable although training for this can be provided.
The successful candidate should be passionate about making a difference to the lives of students and keen to join a school that is relentless in its pursuit of excellence. You will be enthusiastic about ensuring the students you work with make outstanding progress.
