Goodwin Academy are seeking to expand their team of Learning Support Assistants at their vibrant and engaging, state of the art mixed Academy based in the heart of Deal. The successful candidates will work as directed by the SENCO with individual students and groups of students, supporting with the monitoring of progress for individuals. Due to the nature of the role a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed.
This post is suitable if you are looking to build your experience working with SEND pupils.
Our Learning Support Assistant will:
- Have experience supporting learning in the classroom (primary or secondary).
- Assist in the promotion of high standards of behaviour and conduct.
- Be a team player with great communication and organisational skills.
- Support colleagues as directed in all aspects of learning, personal development and emotional literacy.
Our Learning Support Assistant will also have the ability to work calmly under pressure and to adapt quickly and effectively to changing circumstances.
