Learning Support Assistant job summary
Waterside Primary Academy has a vacancy for a learning support assistant who will join our growing school.
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and flexible individual to be part of our dedicated and happy Waterside team. This is a vital role in which you could truly make a difference to pupils and support them to reach their full potential.
Staff work hard to provide an engaging and challenging curriculum which prepares our children for future life enabling them to be aspirational, independent and creative learners. Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential and we recognise that each one is special and has their own contributions to make.
Our school motto “Happy Children Learn” and our values of Caring, Attitude, Respect, Effort and Safety are at our core and are embedded into all aspects of our school life. The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to children’s happiness, safety and achievement
Be friendly and approachable with a professional manner and a good sense of humour
Possess a good standard of spoken and written English plus maths skills appropriate to the primary age range
