Learning Support Assistant job summary
Learning Support Assistant, Term Time plus 3 days, Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours per week
(reduced hours, flexible start and finish times, job share and part-time working will be considered)
Emmanuel College have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Student Support team to provide an exceptional service supporting our SEND students.
The role of the Learning Support Assistant is to work under the instruction/guidance of our Assistant SENDCO to undertake support programmes that enable access to learning for students.
The post holder will be expected to act with honesty and integrity and uphold the Professional Standards for Teaching Assistants in order to make the education of pupils their first concern. The Learning Support Assistant will demonstrate values and behaviours consistent with their professional role.
We have high expectations for our students as they grow and develop and all our staff provide important role models to them in terms of positive attitude, work ethic and diligence.
