Learning Support Assistant/After-School Assistant job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our school as a Learning Support Assistant from September 2026 to support pupils, individually or in groups.

This role is ideally full-time; however, we would welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time.

This is a fixed contract until the end of the academic year, with the potential to progress into a permanent position

Full training will be provided for all aspects of this role.

Frieth CEC Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a criminal records self-disclosure form, and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS Check along with other relevant employment checks.
