Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work closely with students who may be disengaged from traditional learning. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and sport, providing tailored support to inspire students to engage fully with their academic and football lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
Work intensively with students to improve their engagement in academic lessons.
Support the delivery of tailored learning strategies that accommodate diverse learning needs.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment, where students feel motivated to participate.
Collaborate with teachers and coaching staff to align support strategies with both academic and football training.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and parents.
Assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment. Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational or support role.
A genuine interest in sports, particularly football, and its positive impact on youth development.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in learning.
Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, or sports coaching are an advantage.
