Monday - Friday 8.35am - 3.20pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Term time only - 37 weeks per year
A new opportunity has arisen, for a Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team!
Stanford-le-Hope Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, committed and flexible Learning Support Assistant to support student learning.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate patience and show a commitment to supporting learners to improve educational outcomes. This role would be suited to someone personable, empathetic and able to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner, under pressure. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be:
- Passionate, creative, and motivated with a positive outlook, able to remain calm under pressure.
- Committed to supporting pupils’ learning, behaviour, emotional needs, and overall welfare.
- Dedicated to raising outcomes for all students through innovation and continuous improvement.
- A strong communicator with excellent organisational and written skills, able to multi-task effectively.
- An enthusiastic team player with good classroom management and a commitment to safeguarding.
- Have GCSE’s in Maths and English to Grade 4 and above (or equivalent)
