What skills and experience we're looking for

Debden Primary Academy is a flourishing village school with wonderful children and a talented, friendly staff team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to help enhance the learning outcomes of our children. Successful candidates will be required to work flexibly, taking direction from the class teacher and SENCO in adapting and planning activities to help children progress.

Previous experience of working with young children is desirable, but not essential. The school will be able to offer full training to the right candidate.

We would welcome applications from people with energy, patience and a genuine commitment to working with a range of children.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are versatile and able to support our teachers in delivering a high standard of learning to pupils of all abilities;

  • Have GCSE standard, or equivalent, Maths and English.
