Learning Support Assistant/Educational Communicator job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to commence duties as soon as possible. The post involves working with and supporting students aged 11 to 16 years within our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Department.

Additionally we are also seeking to recruit an Educational Communicator to support the inclusion of our hearing-impaired students within school. The role involves working with HI students in mainstream and one-to-one lessons to access academic curriculum, social and extra-curricular activities.

British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1 is an essential requirement; BSL 2 and the experience of working with hearing impaired students are desirable attributes.
