What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a Learning and Support assistant to work alongside our class teachers in either Reception or Pre-School.

  • The candidate must have experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage and hold a level 3 qualification.
The role will involve:
  • Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
  • Supporting the class teacher with Classroom displays and tasks.
  • To have a secure understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
  • To hold the qualification or be willing to participate in training to achieve Paediatric First Aid.
  • To promote equal opportunities within the classroom and throughout the school.
  • To make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
