We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join Hereclive E-Act Academy. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students, supporting their learning, confidence, and personal development. You will be part of a committed team making a real difference every day in a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Support students’ learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver planned activities and interventions.
- Support students with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Pay range: SCP5-7 - £20,372.48 - £21,025.47 - FTE: £25,583.00 - £26,403.00 - (33.5hrs/week) 39 weeks/year
Qualifications and Skills:
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting learners
