Learning Support Assistant job summary

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of employment. You will also be asked to complete a declaration of criminal convictions prior to interview under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Cottage Grove Primary School and Nursery are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work 5 days a week, term time only, to start as soon as they are available.

You will be part of a friendly, hard-working team with well-established routines. Your role will consist of supporting the class teacher to deliver high quality learning opportunities for our children. A full job description is available.

Although previous experience would be helpful, a willingness to learn, being reliable and wanting to do the best for our children are the qualities we are most interested in.
