Katherines Primary Academy are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team. This role will initially be for a fixed term for the academic year 2024 - 2025. The ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Learning Support Assistants (LSA) would work alongside, and individually from class teachers.

We are a thriving Primary School in a small estate in Harlow and a school that the staff, children, parents and myself are incredibly proud of. Our children display excellent learning behaviours, they embrace each new learning opportunity building on prior knowledge and developing new skills, within a challenging curriculum.
Since coming into post, as Head of School in September 2017, I, along with my dedicated team, ensure that children's well being and voice are at the heart of what we do. We are extremely proud of our academic results, above National Standards in all subjects, both in 2018 and 2019, pre COVID. We believe that every child’s learning and development is as individual as they, at Katherines Primary Academy children GROW in our care. This coupled with our '100 things at Katherines' is designed to ensure that we are shaping our children's futures in the most positive way possible.
