Learning Support Assistant for Speech and Language Resource job summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced member of staff to this highly skilled team. The post holder must be well motivated, flexible and have an excellent understanding of how to support children with Speech and Language needs.

The role is a challenging but highly rewarding one, supporting children with an Education Health and Care Plan placed within the Resource from all over Wokingham. This role would suit someone who enjoys building close relationships with children and supporting them to access the curriculum in specialist lessons as well as in their Mainstream classroom.

It is essential that you are highly organized and adaptable to fulfil this role. Whilst further training is provided, experience of supporting children with Speech and Language difficulties is essential.

Hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm (with 15 minute morning break and 30 minute lunch break) . The role includes covering children during their play break at lunchtime.
