Hampton Junior School (HJS) is part of the Hampton Primary Partnership (HPP) with Hampton Infant School. This partnership enables the two schools to closely work together to provide a consistently high standard of education and a coherent approach to the education of all our children. HPP has a single governing body but both schools retain their individual identities and Ofsted ratings. We have a shared vision, to be a partnership which all children have the opportunity to reach excellence and we work hard to achieve this.

Our school aspires for every child to ‘be the best they can be’ and therefore staff ensure that lessons are taught in a highly engaging way, with high expectations and the opportunity for all children to challenge themselves. The excellent teaching and support throughout the school means that children have a strong desire to learn and support one another. The behaviour of children throughout the school is outstanding and allows teachers and children to focus on creating a highly productive learning environment.

At HJS we are very proud of the many opportunities that children have to enable them to develop as successful learners. The rich culture of learning is seen in all subjects including the arts, humanities and sport. The exceptional facilities at the school enhance this offering and provides children with opportunities to learn in our art studio, music room, food technology room and playing field.
