Learning Support Assistant
Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? Hillary Primary is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with a special focus as a Thrive Practitioner. This role is pivotal in supporting our pupils’ social, emotional, and mental well-being, helping them to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Thrive Approach to support children’s social and emotional development.
- Work closely with staff, parents, and children to profile pupils’ needs and develop tailored action plans.
- Provide direct support to children, addressing behavioural and emotional needs proactively and reactively.
- Monitor and track pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider school team to foster an inclusive and supportive environment.
