Learning Support Assistant (Inclusion Room) - Job share considered job summary

Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (term-time plus 5 INSET days)
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 August 2026

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate individuals to support the teaching staff in our wonderful Inclusion Room by working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

A typical day for the Learning Support Assistant will involve assisting with planning and preparing activities, supporting classroom organisation, maintaining equipment, and promoting health, hygiene, and positive behaviour. You will help monitor and report on children’s well-being and development, liaise with parents and external agencies, and accompany pupils on outings. Responsibilities also include administering minor first aid (following training), participating in record-keeping, and contributing to display preparation.
