Learning Support Assistant job summary

Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust are looking to recruit experienced, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants with experience in EYFS and SEND to join our friendly and hardworking teams across our Trust Schools.

Our schools offer exciting learning environments with a strong ethos of teamwork. We also offer continued professional development opportunities. Applications from candidates with a love of children, a knowledge and understanding of their development and a commitment to creative child centered learning are welcomed.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistants to join our highly committed team and willing to work across the schools in either Key Stages. The successful applicant will be:

  • Experienced in a similar role
  • Highly organised and able to set clear priorities in managing their workload
  • Able to communicate clearly and positively with staff, parents and pupils, both in person and in written communications
  • Able to work calmly under pressure
  • Able to show a 'can-do' attitude and seek solutions to problems
  • Able to work flexibly and creatively
  • Happy, co-operative and able to work on own initiative
  • A strong team player
  • A person who demonstrates excellent initiative

These posts will be for 30 hours per week /Paid at Grade 5 .7 - £11.98 per hour / Permanent or fixed contract / 39 weeks per year ( 38 weeks term time + 1 week)
