Learning Support Assistant (Intervention) job summary

Do you take a creative approach when interacting with children?

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (Intervention) on a fixed term contract until 31.08.22, term time only (actual salary £15,387.27), to work with our students to deliver Expert Reader/Accelerated Reader interventions.  The successful candidate would be someone who:

Is patient, calm and relaxed with an enthusiastic approach to learning
Is confident in running stimulating, fun and educational activities with children
Can build and encourage confidence in children, allowing them to lead their own learning when appropriate

The St Leonards Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16-year olds in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. We have a clear vision of what creates successful learners and how to implement it.
