BAND C, POINT 1 TO 4 (£25,989 - £27,694, FTE

PART TIME , TERM TIME (20 HOURS PER WEEK, 39 WEEKS)

Working hours are 08.30 to 12.30, Monday to Friday.

    Kirkby Thore School are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils across key stages. We are looking for someone to join our small and friendly team who demonstrates energy, passion and a desire to help children achieve their full potential.

    As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

    • Passionate about working with pupils and building strong, positive relationships
    • Support whole-class teaching and deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions
    • Provide high-quality support for pupils with SEND, helping remove barriers to learning
    • Deliver targeted interventions and adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs
    • Encourage and develop independent learning skills in pupils
    • Create a stimulating and imaginative classroom environment, indoors and outdoors
    • Contribute to pupil assessment, monitoring, and progress reviews
    • Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies
    • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a progressive learning environment

    The successful candidate will:

    • Be well-organised
    • Be self-motivated with excellent communication skills
    • Driven to support students to achieve their best
    • Have relevant Level 3 qualifications in relevant discipline
    • Appropriate Level 2 in both English and Maths at grade C or above

    Previous experience is desirable however full training will be provided for the right candidate

    This role includes 30 min of lunch time supervision.
