What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work closely with students aged 11-18 years who have a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities. You will work closely with the classroom teachers to help students with their maths and numeracy skills.
It is necessary for the candidate to have qualifications in Maths/Numeracy or English/Literacy equivalent to at least NVQ Level 2. The post requires a good standard of education and an attitude which is positive and supportive towards young people.

Homewood School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 wide ability school with Academy status with 2000 students including 350 in the Sixth Form. We are part of Tenterden Schools’ Trust working in collaboration with local primary schools serving the Wealden town of Tenterden and the surrounding villages. The school is situated on the edge of Tenterden and enjoys a large semi-rural site overlooking open countryside.
