Learning Support Assistant (Oak View Only) job summary

Have you ever considered supporting the Teaching and Learning of children and young people who have Special Needs?

We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to join our hardworking and friendly team, working to support our special needs children Age 3-19 years covering a whole range of complex needs including ASD, SLD, PMLD and challenging behaviour.

Working hours

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 8.50am - 3.20pm

Tuesday 8.50am -4.20pm (team meeting 3.20pm -4.20pm) every other Tuesday

Friday 8.50am – 1.10pm

Training every Monday and Thursday 3.20pm- 4.20pm - during your training period

Monday - Friday term time only plus all inset days

Experience not needed in house training provided.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have some experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs. (Not essential as training given)

  • Have a caring nature

  • Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults

  • Be able to work as part of a team
