We have purpose built facilities and an opportunity has arisen to join our team in this exciting environment.We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a permanent basis for extra funded pupils. They will work in partnership with the class teacher to support the pupils' learning in line with codes of practice and school policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be required to support learning, attend to pupils' personal needs as required, helping with social, welfare, care and health matters, which may include toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility.Ideally we are looking for a candidate with previous experience of working with children with special educational needs but this role would also suit a candidate who is looking to get SEN classroom experience.All shortlisted candidates will be required to take a basic numeracy & literacy test.At Pioneer we have a modern and inspiring learning environment, complemented with a wide and varied range of resources to enhance the learning experience for all.
