We're searching for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to become a vital part of our community and help us to support students with various SEND needs to overcome their barriers to learning.
- Start Date: 1st September 2026
- Hours/Weeks: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus non-pupil/INSET days)
- Working Pattern: 8:30am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.
A Day in the Life:
You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
- Proactively supporting students with activities designed to enhance numeracy and literacy
- Supporting SEN students in gaining the ability to utilise IT in the classroom
- Promoting positive behaviour, raising esteem and encouraging an aspirational culture
- Working with individuals or small groups of children in collaboration with teaching staff
- Working with SEN students to foster their development as independent learners.
What We're Looking For:
You are the perfect fit for our team if you have:
- A good standard of education (ideally Maths/English GCSE grade A* to C or equivalent)
- A commitment to high standards of achievement from students and yourself
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act on your own initiative.
