16 hours and 15 minutes per week

12.15pm - 3.30pm (Monday-Friday)

38 weeks of the year - term time plus inset days

Warren Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, committed and flexible Learning Support Assistant, who has a good understanding of child development and learning and will be willing to support children with both their physical and academic needs.

You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will need to understand the subjects that you support the children in, be able to demonstrate a fair attitude and apply rules consistently as well as be confident in adjusting learning programs to meet the child’s needs. You will be resilient, hardworking and have excellent de-escalation skills.

The successful candidate will be: 

  • Passionate, creative, and motivated with a positive outlook, able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Committed to supporting pupils’ learning, behaviour, emotional needs, and overall welfare.
  • Dedicated to raising outcomes for all students through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisational and written skills, able to multi-task effectively.
  • An enthusiastic team player with good classroom management and a commitment to safeguarding.
  • Able to follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise students’ welfare
  • Educated to GCSE Level in Maths and English and will have obtained Grade 4-9 or equivalent
  • Resilient, hardworking and have excellent de-escalation skills

The successful candidate will have:
