What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar setting who is capable of giving their knowledge and experience to the children in our school.
Reporting directly to our Head of School, you will be responsible for undertaking administrative and organisational processes as required, to support the teacher, to deliver consistently good or better provision for our children.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who will bring organisation and commitment to this role, supporting both the students and the teachers, ensuring all duties are completed to the highest standard. You will need to be personable and have good communication skills.
Your core duties will include, but are not limited to:
Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs; ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour
Plans and Personal Care programmes
Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals ∙ Assist with the planning of learning activities
Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher
