We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant join our academy, to support pupils with SEND and to ensure that every child succeeds.

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist with the implementation of individual Education/Behaviour plans and Personal Care programs as agreed with the teacher 

• Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate 

• Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs 

• Responsible for working in accordance with E-ACT’s policy relating to the promotion of Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity 

• Select appropriate resources/methods to facilitate agreed learning activities, differentiating and adapting learning programmes to suit the needs of allocated pupils 


Pay range: SCP 2 – SCP 5 (Inner London) £23,189.62 - £24,187.00 

FTE: SCP 2 – SCP 5 (Inner London) £26,366.00 - £27,500.00

 

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent 

• Teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience 

• Experience of working with children who have a wide variety of educational needs

• Experience of liaising with the SENCO and outside agencies

• Relevant educational experience supporting a child/children in a school settin
