Learning Support Assistant job summary

We are looking to appoint a learning support assistant to start as soon as possible to join our school.
You will be friendly, enthusiastic and be able to build a rapport with pupils. You will be expected to be a good role model to our pupils working with them in a reliable, committed and dedicated way, showing a genuine interest in their continuing development and well-being.
We are looking to appoint an inspirational, forward thinking learning support assistant who prides themselves in working collaboratively, supporting children in building foundations for happy and successful life-long learners. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills in a caring and supportive school. While the ideal candidate will be someone who has experience of working with children previously, this is not essential.

Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm (32.5 hours per week) , Term Time only
We are looking to appoint a person who:
- Loves children!
- Has an NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Has previous experience of working with children (desirable)
- Has a cheerful, warm and welcoming personality with the ability to communicate with children and adults alike
- is reliable, efficient, and flexible
- is able to work as part of a team and is willing to learn
- speak fluent English as in accordance with part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016)
