The Polygon School is a specialist
school that supports, educates and helps to make a difference to the lives of 72
young men with social, emotional and mental health issues. All Pupils attending this school hold an
Education, Health Care Plan. This post holder will be required to carry out English and Maths lessons
for pupils with fully personalised timetables who are educated away from the
main school site.
Polygon School is looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to work
with pupils unable to access mainstream education. Your role will be to support
the pupils and help them build up their self-esteem and improve their academic
progress, so they can achieve their full potential.
is a challenging yet rewarding role so strong interpersonal skills are required
as well as a willingness to support challenging pupils on a daily basis. Specific training will be given to enable you
to carry out this element of the role.
experience of working within an SEMH Provision is desirable but training will
be available for the right candidate.
the bespoke nature of this role, the applicant must hold a full, clean driving
Grade 6 (SCP 12 – SCP 17)
Hours of Work: 32.5
Hours per Week, Term Time Only. Working
hours between 08.30am and 15.30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime hours by negotiation.
