Actual salary

Salary: Band B Point 7-12 (£17,563.77 - £19,100.96 per annum)

What skills and experience we're looking for

This position will involve:

  • Supporting pupils, to ensure they are engaged in learning activities
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
  • Acting as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviour, to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguarding
  • Providing additional support to the teachers in the classrooms, around the school and the school playground
  • Developing positive relationships with the pupils in lessons being covered
