Our community spirited academy benefits from committed parents, governors and students whose excellent behaviour is testament to our holistic pastoral and values system.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, flexible, organised with a common-sense approach to supporting students in the classroom. Excellent interpersonal skills, a team approach to work and a willingness to help secure the best outcomes for our students whether learning or in social settings would make you an ideal candidate for this position. Learning Support Assistants play a vital role in ensuring all of our students can succeed and enjoy school life. This vacancy would suit an individual who is caring, passionate about working with students and supporting them to develop from both an academic and social perspective. The successful applicant will work across the four broad areas of need, supporting a range of learning differences from autism, ADHD to dyslexia and physical needs.
Working out of the Learning Support base (Vale Court) where a range of supportive measures are in place for students, your primary role will be to support the students with a range of educational needs to access their learning across the school day. You will be highly valued by teaching colleagues as well as the students you support.
