We're looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to become a vital part of our community and help us to continue to create a school that is characterised by positivity, challenge, and enjoyment. - The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week.
- This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time and non-pupil days.
A Day in the Life:
You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
- Delivering measurable interventions to individuals or small groups of children under the direction of teaching staff and/or the SENCO.
- Establishing positive relationships with students and staff.
- Supporting students with activities which support literacy and numeracy skills.
- Updating and referring to the provision map, ensuring relevant provisions are reviewed, data is recorded, documents are uploaded and kept up to date.
- Participating in the planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher, providing feedback to the teacher on student progress and behaviour.

- Successful recent experience working with secondary age children.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A good general standard of education.
- An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
