Learning Support Assistant job summary

As the Learning Support Assistant in early years, you will have worked with or cared for children in an early years setting and must possess a full and relevant Level 3 in Early Years Educator qualification. With sound knowledge of the EYFS and Characteristics of Effective Learning, you will have an ability to plan and implement a stimulating Early Years curriculum, outdoors and indoors. You will have good interpersonal skills, be able to work constructively as part of a team and have a natural ability to form positive relationships with children. You must have Level 2 qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths (GCSE A* – C). The post is based at Westerton Primary Academy and applicants should ensure they are able to travel to the place of work before they apply.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
