Learning Support Assistant

Location: Wootton Primary School, the role will be across our Harris Way and Bedford Road site

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st August 2026

Hours: Monday & Wednesday 8:40am -12:00pm then 1:15pm - 2:45pm Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:40am - 12pm (19.67 hours per week)

Salary: Level 2 point 4-5 £13.05 per hour. Annual salary £10,001 per annum.

Closing date: Friday 6th March 2026 at 12.00pm

Interviews are scheduled for week commencing Monday 10th March

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with our children, some of whom have Special Educational Needs. Ideally applicants will have experience of working in a primary school setting and will have experience of running interventions, speech and language support and phonics teaching.

We are able to offer beautifully behaved and motivated children, an excellent working environment and a supportive and friendly staff. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged.
