Lettings Assistant job summary

We are looking for a Lettings Assistant to work with our Lettings Manager to facilitate events, bookings and activities on our 3G artificial grass pitch (AGP) and in other areas of our school buildings/facilities, ensuring a quality of service for all users. The role is a casual contract and will include evening and weekend work.Main Duties

  • Meet and greet clients

  • Setting up and clearing away equipment required for lettings

  • Security of the building, including CCTV control, and locking of school buildings, as directed

  • Car Park management where required.

  • General maintenance, including cleaning duties, of the Sports Centre and equipment

  • Cash handling, including accepting deposits/payments for casual bookings.

  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health & safety and security, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person

  • Observing behaviour of hirers to ensure safe and proper use

  • Ensuring timely vacating of Centre when time has expired

  • Administer first aid as required (training provided)

  • Adhering to health and safety regulations.

  • Cleaning of Sports Centre and other areas used by hirers.

  • Any other tasks, as directed

Katherine Warington School is a new comprehensive, co‐educational and non‐denominational academic secondary school (opened September 19) with 750 students currently (180 in each of years 7, 8, 9 and 10 – these year groups are already oversubscribed). The school will add a
further 180 students in each subsequent year and then open a 250 strong Sixth Form. By 2025 we will have grown to our capacity of 1,150 students. The school was established through the partnership of the Harpenden Secondary Schools Trust, which includes the three outstanding
