Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant job summary
Wintringham Primary Academy is seeking to appoint experienced and/or inexperienced, inspirational, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants, with experience working across both Key Stage 1 and 2 to join our experienced team. Consideration will be given to inexperienced applicants. The hours are 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, 39 working weeks per year, term-time plus training days. Salary is dependent upon experience.
We are looking for someone with who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our happy and friendly school.
The right candidate will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team. They must demonstrate full commitment to the school and its aim to raise standards.
Every day you will be assisting the teacher in teaching all subjects, along with encouraging good behavior.
The ideal candidate will:
Have the ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues;
Have commitment to equal opportunities;
Be flexible and have experience of using different strategies to achieve the desired outcomes;
Have the ability to work in a team but also to use your own initiative;
Have good organisational and time management skills;
