Level 1 Learning Support Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint an excellent Level 1 Learning Support Assistant to join our fantastic team, who is committed to supporting our children’s education and well-being. This role will involve supporting a wonderful Year 2 child with special educational needs on a one to one basis, whilst also promoting independence and inclusivity. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Principal, staff and community of Buckton Fields to provide outstanding learning experiences as part of our growing team. Previous experience of supporting children with special educational needs would be advantageous, although not essential. The role will include supporting a child on a one to level to complete learning activities, working closely with the class teacher and supporting an inclusive classroom environment. Training will be provided for the successful candidate and a commitment to CPD. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team player who can support our growing school.

Buckton Fields Primary School is a new two-form entry school, which opened in September 2021.We have had a fantastic start since opening with a brilliant, dedicated team, enthusiastic children and supportive families.
