Job Role: Teaching Assistant Level 1
Location: Gurney Pease Academy
Contract Type: Temporary - Maternity Cover until March 2027
Hours: 21.15 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8.30am – 12.45pm)
Term Time plus one week (47 weeks per year)
Salary: Band 1 SCP 3 - £12.85 per hour, Salary £12,773.55
Gurney Pease Academy, part of The Education Village Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed person who will help us deliver a high-quality learning environment for our pupils. The successful applicant will be highly motivated and committed to ensuring the active participation, learning and achievement of all pupils. Duties will include assisting the teacher in the delivery of the curriculum, care and welfare of pupils and small group work.
