What skills and experience we're looking for

Ryecroft Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of a Level 1 Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy, the successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. We are looking for colleagues who could work across all primary year groups, with children ranging from ages 3-11 years.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Have good numeracy/literacy skills.
  • The ability to relate well to children and adults.
  • The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
  • Experience working with or caring for children of relevant age.
