What skills and experience we're looking for

The Morley Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Level 1 Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an academy. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Potential applicants should have:

  • Experience of working with young people.
  • The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
  • Strong numeracy/literacy skills.
