Vacancy for Level 2 Teaching Assistant (1:1 support) at Harrold Primary Academy!

Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5 Point 5 £19,299

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 days)

Fixed term - name child contract.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant (1:1 support) to join Harrold Primary Academy! You will make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupil, working to provide one-to-one and and teaching. This role includes adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to children's needs. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school - you will work closely with our SENDCo and SEND team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will possess GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEND of behavior needs would be beneficial.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • Can be adaptable, take on board new ideas and think on their feet!
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
