What skills and experience we're looking for

Grenoside Community Primary School is part of Peak Edge Academy Trust and is set in the village of Grenoside. We are co-educational and have just under 350 on roll with pupils coming from Grenoside and from the wider local area. School Leadership is seeking to appoint a strong and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant with strong knowledge of SEN to work within our KS1 team providing.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with drive and ambition to become part of the team at Grenoside Primary School. The successful applicant will:

  • Have a good educational background with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understand the education system and how children learn
  • Be able to make positive relationships with children, working closely with pupils who are finding learning difficult
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative
  • Have knowledge of the need for confidentiality and awareness of child protection issues
  • ·Have flexibility of working hours, committed and reliable with excellent timekeeping
